    Good Evening Everyone.

There is a two-night event/special on the History Channel called, America: Promised Land. This is something you DO NOT WANT TO MISS. This show discusses everything about the beginnings of America and how EVERYONE of EVERY ETHNICITY has contributed to this nation that we have benefited from.

I started watching and it is indeed very informative. Im going to finish watching it before I draw any conclusions, but as a black man I have many thoughts.

Very informative, very insightful, very educational. The conclusion that I gathered from watching was two thinks.

    1. America is clearly a nation made up with immigrants from all over the world… and it is the strength of that diversity that makes this such a great nation.

    2. Out of all people… The two that was the most victimized and unfortunate in America’s history was the Indians and Africans. Everyone else was able claim land, start business, and reap from the early harvest of a country untapped. Many of those early benefits has been passed down to generations and plays a role in the disparaging deficits between the black and white that we see in today’s society.
