Everyday, I watch the news to stay abreast of all the events in our city, state, nation and the world, but I only to hear about more and more violence. People that have been stabbed, shot, some attacked for doing good works or for no damn reason at all. Each day is worst than the last. I watch the news to stay informed of all events: good and bad. But, it seems that the bad is surpassing the good. What is it going to take to cut out or stop all this violence?

I completely agree with you, I am somewhat addicted to the news, my day literally will not go right without watching it every morning and every night. However, it’s like I’m watching it more and more now to make sure that there is nothing happening close to my home because every time you turn around so much hurt, harm, and danger is damn near at your front step. Smh so that’s a great question. What will it take?

I watch the news often; It is a part of my daily routine, however I know a whole lot of people who dont watch the news because they say that it is too depressing.

Watching the news can be a bit of a double edge sword. It is good because it keeps you informed in your community, but It can be discouraging and demoralizing hearing and seeing the same negative storys over and over

As far as the violence, unfortunately I think that it will continue. People are savages with barbaric mentalitys. The only sliver-lining is that you can do your part by making sure you are not contributing to the violence and teach the people in your circle to do the same

Morals are slowly going down the drain. Also, this is not just an issue of the nation, it is a world issue. I pray for the world and mother earth.
