How organic is organic? Just because the label reads organic doesn’t mean that it is. How many people really do their homework on distributors and products that they are labeling organic? So many people want to be healthy and eat clean but instead of looking into these thijnhs and purchasing from a reliable source they buy items just because it’s “labeled” organic. Do your research on tghese vendors and markets before purchasing.+7July 24, 2017 at 10:00 am #14817
Great points @Lashawn. From the Company’s stand point it’s called marketing. From the customer’s stand point its called being a sucker. We the people have always been suckers for labels. We will spend all of our hard earned money on Gucci, Jordans, etc.
Unless you do your homework, there is no way of knowing if a product is truly organic.+7July 24, 2017 at 2:07 pm #14827AnishaRay RayParticipant
@Lashawn you are absolutely correct. You also have to keep in mind that when a company labels their product organic it’s because there is a list of pesticides that are banned from use. However the company can use others that are not on the list and still label their product organic. So it’s important that you know what carbon based pesticides are hazardous so you can avoid them+6July 26, 2017 at 7:09 pm #14860Alex SmartParticipant
I don’t think thats it’s all hype, organic food and products are definitely more beneficial. However it is no different from other products. People flood the market with knock offs, but the actually products is self is great.+5July 27, 2017 at 6:56 am #14861Lashawn WilliamstonParticipant
@Alex indeed organic product are better I agree. I’m speaking on those that buy product because it’s labeled organic vs doing their own research on if it really is.+4July 29, 2017 at 10:50 pm #14889Larry GeorgeParticipant
I hate anything organic. Everything organic has a tendency to be distasteful.+3August 2, 2017 at 6:00 pm #14927
I feel like the whole organic label definitely open up the door for a lot of scepticism. Because you can easily con people with false advertising.+2August 6, 2017 at 3:26 pm #14938Lisa LorenParticipant
Shit, I dont see no difference. All that organic stuff really dont make no difference to me. Its all the same. You eat it and shit it right back out.+1August 11, 2017 at 11:17 am #14988Word SmithParticipant
To me there is no difference between organic food and regular food? The only difference to me is the cost. The only food I dont eat is Churches chicken. They chicken wings is the size of my legs.+1September 22, 2017 at 8:05 pm #15244
